This piece is inspired by our recent trip to Seoul, where we saw quite a few girls wearing custom reinterpreted hanbok dresses. Traditionally, hanbok is made with soft and luxury fabric such as silk,satin,or taffeta, but we decided to go with cotton twill to give it a more structured look. The end result is a lovely wrap skirt with a paperbag waist, several shaping darts front and back, and a sewn-on belt. No lining.
